About the Twin Cities Zoo Day

Twin Cities is one of DMRF’s 10 family-friendly Dystonia Zoo Days held across the country, bringing together community members and supporters to raise awareness and funds to support the DMRF’s mission, as well as provide important connection and information for those living with dystonia. Dystonia Zoo Day participants receive a t-shirt and refreshments, and enjoy activities and a program of speakers before heading off to the zoo.

If you cannot attend in person but would like to support an individual participant or a team, please make a donation.

Cost: Fees: $25 for Adults / $15 for children (12 yrs and under). Registration includes zoo access, refreshments, and a t-shirt.

Date: Saturday, August 22, 2026 (held rain or shine)

Location: Como Park/Midway Park Pavillion-South, 1199 Midway Parkway, St. Paul, MN 55103, followed by Como Park Zoo, 1225 Estabrook Dr., St. Paul, MN 55103

Event Timeline:                                                                                                                                                       

10:00 AM CT - Registration, t-shirt pickup, refreshments, activities & mingling
11:00 AM CT - Welcome and remarks
12:00 PM CT - Enjoy the zoo at your own pace and spread the word about dystonia!

Zoo Day T-shirts: Every registrant will receive a t-shirt but only registrants on teams of 10 or more will receive a personalized t-shirt that includes their team name. Teams must be completely registered by Wednesday, August 5 to ensure that your personalized team t-shirt will be available. All t-shirts will be available for pick-up at check-in on the morning of the event.
